Deputy Prosecutor General

The Deputy Prosecutor General acts as the aide and deputy of the Prosecutor General.

The Deputy Prosecutor General may make decisions on matters within his or her remit with the same authority as the Prosecutor General. The rules of procedure of the National Prosecution Authority determine the division of duties between the Prosecutor General and the Deputy Prosecutor General.

The Deputy Prosecutor General is responsible for leading and supervising the operational enforcement of criminal liability.
