Information requests by the media

We can disclose information on decisions made by National Prosecution Authority Finland as well as other public documents according to the provisions of the Act on the Openness of Government Activities.

Please indicate in your message:

• The information you are requesting and its identifiers
• The purpose for which you intend to use the information
• The address to which the information is to be sent

If the information request involves a large quantity of data or is otherwise laborious, we will charge a fee for fulfilling it. If your information request will be subject to a fee, we will provide you with a cost estimate in our reply. 

National Prosecution Authority Finland charges the fee in accordance with section 5 of the Decree of the Ministry of Justice on Fees Charged for Performances of the Courts and Certain Judicial Authorities in 2022–2024.

Information on matters that have been referred to the courts is available from the court in question or the Legal Register Centre.
